Louis Brenton serves as Lead Teaching Elder of Centerpoint Church. He provides the majority of the teaching from the pulpit, and leads the Elder team as they care for the flock and guide the overall ministry of the church.
Louis grew up in Indiana, and received Christ as his Savior early in his freshman year of college.
After answering the call to ministry, he began serving in his first paid ministry position when he was 19 years old. He’s been working in churches ever since.
Louis graduated from Ball State University with a degree in Religious Studies in 1994, and moved to Memphis soon afterward to attend Memphis Theological Seminary, graduating in 1998. Over the course of his career, Louis has served as a Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, Senior Pastor, and college professor. He has been serving as an elder at Centerpoint since 2005.
Louis has been married to his wife Monica since 1998, and they have 3 kids–Israel, Gabriel, and Hannah.
