Mike Barker serves as a pastor and worship leader at Centerpoint and oversees many of the technical aspects of the church.
Raised in a small town in northern Michigan in a Christian home, Mike accepted Christ at an early age. He started leading worship when he was 15 years old. After high school, Mike interned at Teen Mania’s Honor Academy in Texas for 2 years. Afterwards, he moved to Memphis, TN in order to attend Visible School Music and Worship Arts College. He graduated with a BA in Music Ministry and minored in Audio Production.
Mike and his bride Allison were married on a mountainside in 2006. They have been blessed with two sons – 2-year-old Jude and 1-year old Sammy. Their family is eagerly awaiting word on their pending adoption from Uganda.
